Whether you’re fixing an existing carpet or installing one for the first time, Pattex Contact Adhesive is the best adhesive for the job. 

How to use

  1. Surfaces should be levelled, dry, clean of dust and free of substances which may impair adhesion.
  2. Apply a thin layer of Contact Adhesive (Premium) on both surfaces with a brush or trowel.
  3. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the solvent to evaporate from the adhesive.
  4. Bring together, and strongly press the two surfaces for a short period of time.
  5. Successful adhesion depends on the strength and not on the time span of the applied pressure.
